Does your company have an executive leadership transition plan? If so, are the employees aware of it? How far in advance of the transition was the plan put into place?

Does the number of responses reflect the number of succession plans in place or that employees are unaware of their employer's succession plan?
Engineering managers are too busy to do succession plans.
Succession planning is the responsibility of senior management so I think I just wrote that many engineering managers are not doing their jobs well.
