The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™ "encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria."
Is your firm encouraging staff to become LEED certified? Do they reward staff for receiving the certification?

My company encourages LEED certification, however there is no immediate compensation or benefit for it right now.
I pursued the LEED AP shortly after passing the PE exam since I was in the 'studying' mode. I am the first in my department to have gotten the LEED certification and my raise at the end of last year was reflective of passing the PE, becoming a LEED AP, and getting a good performance review.
