At a recent conference I attended, an Executive from a civil engineering company highly recommended books that are great for anyone interested in management: 

Managing the Professional Services Firm by David H. Maister

Why Employees Don’t Do What They’re Supposed To Do, and What To Do About It by Ferdinand F. Fournies

Trust in the Balance by Robert Bruce Shaw

First, Break All the Rules by Marcus Buckingham and Curt Coffman
