I am not sure if this story got beyond the local Philadelphia area media market, but an un-scheduled bridge inspection found a major flaw in a structural bridge column that shut down a portion of I-95 for 2 days. Kudos to the inspection team for finding this, as this could have easily become another tragic national headline...another prime example as to the deteriorating state of the U.S. infrastructure.
